THE MAGIC KINGDOM PART 2: THE NEW FANTASYLAND WITH ANNA AND ELSA MEET AND GREET AND SEVEN DWARFS MINE TRAIN

Ok so we left off at the Haunted Mansion. If you missed PART 1 check it out. By the time we got out of there it was around 10:30. We headed to Fantasyland and we had 3 FASTPASSES set up there. First we stopped at stroller parking which is like the first thing you see to your left as you enter Fantasyland from Frontierland. It is also the Rapunzel bathroom area that people are raving about. Rightfully so, as far as public restrooms with heavy traffic go, this one was done pretty well inside and out. There was also no line which was wonderful!!

When were done with our detour we headed straight to It's a Small World. This is one of my kids and my favorite. There was a 10 minute wait listed. The wait was less than 10 minutes maybe 5. It wasn't until we were about to get in the boat that I realized we were missing our time slot for our Peter Pan Fastpass!!! At that point I didn't really care as we were about to board our boat.

WAITING IN LINE, A VERY PRETTY LINE

ON THE RIDE

AWWWW IT'S OVER!!!

The ride was great as always. To me this is one of those rides I call "totally timeless", because it is. It is bright and colorful, it's relaxing, it's happy, it feels like it encompasses the spirit of Disney World. Everyone can ride it and it always makes people smile.

So now that we are off It's a Small World and we no longer have our Peter Pan Fastpass, we check our My Disney Experience App to see what time our next Fastpass is for. It happened to be right then!

Our Fastpass was for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. On our way we had to stop though at Prince Charming's Regal Carousel. My kids love that ride. It's like other carousel rides you have probably been on just bigger and better!!

Then off to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

STRAIGHT THROUGH THERE FOLKS

The mini-kid coaster was adorably entertaining. It was not super fast and it was in no way slow either. It was beautifully crafted and I enjoyed every second of it as did the other members of our family. I do wish it was longer but then it would have had to have been slower and it was the perfect speed for a kids coaster. Keep in mind that the height requirement is only 38".

I highly recommend this ride. It was hands down the best ride in Fantasyland and one of the better ones in the park. I say this despite those critics out there that say it isn't good enough. Remember this is in Fantasyland the land of the smallest, shortest, least thrilling rides for all of those small children who are just that, children.

So now it is almost 11 am. We have already managed seven rides. That is a pretty good morning especially with children in tow. When you go with older groups it is much easier to accomplish more. When you go with small kids keep in mind that there is more stopping and it just takes a little longer to get from point a to point b.

We still have a Fastpass for an Anna and Elsa meet and greet, but it is not time for that yet. We don't really want to leave fantasyland either as it seems like a lot of unnecessary walking. So we stop somewhere we have never been before, Mickey's Philharmagic. It was great! We made it in just as they were finishing up the seating. It is a 4D movie and a nice break from the heat. This trip was in late May and it was around 90 everyday. This was the perfect stop. It was sitting in the a/c watching what even my husband calls a surprisingly entertaining show.

After the show my kids rode the carousel again. At this point it was clear the heat and early arrival to the park was taking a toll on the kids. They were beginning to get cranky and when that happens the magic just magically fades away!!

When we got off the carousel we headed straight to Anna and Elsa. Keep in mind the last few things we did were all located right behind the castle so not much walking and our stroller was parked in the same spot the whole time. We used our Fastpass for Anna and Elsa, and it's a good thing because the posted wait was 5 hours!!!! I'm assuming it's because they are really popular right now. However, the posted wait to meet Cinderella and Rapunzel was 2 hours. So although it may die down, I still consider than an insane amount of time to meet a character.

It was cute but not five hours wait cute!!

Aurora was also there and while my  daughter loves frozen she was just as happy to meet Aurora. She just likes princesses. I guess it's a girl thing!

Now that we have finished all of these amazing things it is time to eat and head back to our room. We had 1:00 lunch reservations at Be Our Guest Lunch. I will make this a separate post and link it later. It was only about 12:30pm at this point. So we all headed over to storybook circus. Not for any rides just so that we could hit the kiosk and reserve our fourth Fastpass for later that day. The process went way faster than I had expected. We got two for Space Mountain at 6pm and two for Peter Pan at the same time. We did this because my son is not big enough to ride Space Mountain and my husband doesn't care about Peter Pan. We also didn't plan on heading back until about 5pm or later so the time was perfect.

By the time we got back to Be Our Guest we were still to early!!! So we sat in a shady spot by Enchanted Tales With Belle until 12:55 at which time we were allowed to check in for our lunch.

Next up is going to be Part 3 of the Magic Kingdom.
