Today I experienced an Ice Skating Rink. Something I thought they had no more of in South Florida, but there it was in Pembroke Pines. So if you are headed to Ft. Lauderdale or the surrounding areas yes we still do have ice skating rinks and yes everyone there is dressed to the max lol.
It was actually really fun for my daughter and her friends. Only one of which knew how to ice skate. They enjoyed the cold and gliding and the Olaf skating on the ice in his big snowman costume.
So next time your visiting and think it's to hot and humid and you can't take it anymore.... stop by the ice skating rink! It's located off of Flamingo Rd and Taft St in Pembroke Pines. Just north of C.B. Smith Park. Another great place that I will be blogging about in an upcoming post this summer.
And now to take a nap, watching kids ice skate and trying to stay warm is very tiring lol.
