FASTPASS+

Fastpass+ is a lot like the old Fastpass but upgraded. You used to have to run across the park to the ride of choice to get a Fastpass then come back to that ride at whatever time the piece of paper says. It was cool because you new you were definitely getting on that ride at that time with little to no wait.

Now..... it's even better!!! Some will disagree but being from the technology age I think it's great.


The system is basically this: all guests to Walt Disney World can get at least 3 Fastpasses per day. You can get them either after you arrive at the park for the day (although I do not recommend this) or you can get them up to 60 days in advance depending on where you are staying and when you buy your tickets.


If you stay onsite (in a Disney Resort) and you have pre-purchased your tickets you may get 3 Fastpasses a day up to 60 days in advance. If you do not book your vacation (tickets and room) until 45 days in advance than that is when you may book your Fastpasses. 

If you stay offsite but purchase your tickets in advance you may book your Fastpasses up to 30 days in advance as long as you have your tickets.

If you purchase your tickets when you get there that is when you may pick your Fastpasses!

Once you have used your 3 Fastpasses for the day you may chose more from inside the park. Remember though that people have had these reserved for up to 60 days in advance so don't be surprised if the Fastpass you want is gone on a fly by night trip you didn't plan! It is still possible to get really good ones the day of for things like Space Mountain or Thunder Mountain but you must act fast and not be picky about what times are left!

There are two different ways to get these Fastpasses: in a kiosk at the park or on the My Disney Experience website or app.
